Hail Wanderers!
The other project is done, so I'm back to spending most of my time working on the dungeon crawler. I've decided to make the shift to a pre-defined main character as it gives me more options for writing a cohesive story and for developing that character's interactions with the NPCs. The player will still have narrative choice both on a small scale (what questions to ask, etc) and on a large scale (moral choices etc) but there won't be as many small flavor choices (how do you react to this line of dialogue, etc). This helps with PC-NPC interaction, as I explained above, and also cuts down on the amount of dialogue that is needed for each NPC. Feel free to contact me if there are any questions or concerns about the new format. The boss is all that is left of the fire dungeon that still needs to be done, so by the end of today I should be around half way done with the first demo. With luck, the demo should be ready for release by next weekend but I can't make any promises.
